Mr. Aaron Haney

Welcome to Indian Valley High School!
We are excited that you have chosen to be part of the Indian Valley High School experience. At Indian Valley, we believe in our district’s mission of Working together to personalize a rigorous, standards-based learning experience. Indian Valley High School believes each student has unique talents and personal interests that must be discovered, developed, and guided toward future career opportunities. At Indian Valley High School, we call that process “Discovering Your E” where the goal for every senior is to create a career pathway toward Employment, Enlistment, or Enrollment after graduation. The district’s vision is to develop students' abilities to be persistent academic and social problem solvers pursuing the career pathway of their choice so they can become Brave Leaders, Brave Scholars, and Brave Pathfinders throughout the student's educational experience at Indian Valley Local Schools.
Indian Valley offers a diversity of course offerings and educational opportunities often not found in many high schools in Ohio. Indian Valley High School is proud to offer a diverse variety of career-based elective courses that students can choose to participate in their course schedules. Everything from industrial arts courses, like metals and wood shop, home maintenance, and small engine repair, to a large variety of fine arts courses in music and visual arts. Students may also choose from a large selection of elective courses in the area of foreign language, computer and mechanical engineering, FFA agricultural courses, and many science and social studies electives. Beginning in the 2023-2024 school year will be a brand new career pathway toward business and supply chain management, a new video productions course called multimedia productions, and an aerial drone course where students will be instructed to become licensed FAA aerial drone pilots. Furthermore, Indian Valley High School offers on its campus 39 credit hours of CCP classes and 2 AP courses which provide rigorous and challenging opportunities to earn university general education credit while learning in a supportive and enriching environment.
We encourage all students to become active participants in many of the outstanding clubs, organizations, band, drama, and athletic opportunities that are offered at Indian Valley High School. The Indian Valley band and athletic teams have a strong tradition of qualifying for district, regional, and state competitions. The Indian Valley FFA organization is a very active group participating in many regional and state competitions. Many of the Indian Valley organizations, like the FFA, Student Council, and the NHS members, take part in many different community service projects that enhance our local community. We believe that the quality and personal growth a student receives from a high-quality education experience only grows deeper and richer when students participate in one or more of these extracurricular activities.
Again, Welcome to Indian Valley High School; we look forward to being part of your next four years.
Let's Go Braves!
